I kinda hope they don't rush it. Its obvious that it will happen, its just a matter of when, where, and how. I wish they'd just webcast practices or something, like radiohead did. That way we can all watch from our own homes, we can have listen parties, etc...and no need to travel to like, Florida for a week etc. Do a series of weekly webcasts, and at the end of the year, do the big festival.

go for it. you're probably better at presenting such an idea and have more people who would actually listen to it ;)

I think I've just gotten spoiled seeing them at their various side projects in small gyms and bars. Same thing goes for most bands. You see them in a little room on a boat or something, and you realize how much more fun that intimate experience is. Even if they don't play as long, or the setlist isn't epic...at least you didn't have to clean vomit off your shoes, drive 500 miles, and drop a few hundred bucks.

God, I've gotten so old.
