Dream Report...
...in which I do something really stupid

So I decided for some reason to go to a Seahawks game in person (which I haven't done in a while). It was a Sunday and I headed on down to Husky Stadium which is where they played while Seahawks Stadium was being built. I decided to be sneaky and jump the turnstile since I didn't have a ticket but no one seemed to care that I did it.

The game was crowded but I soon found someone who knew where the GA supporters' section was. The entire stadium was packed and I would barely be able to see the field, but I was excited for the energy. I then admitted that I didn't know who we were playing so I asked.

"We're playing Philly."

"Wait, isn't that the Monday night game?"

"Yeah."

"So, why are all of these people here?"

70,000 people came to the stadium to watch games on the scoreboard. I figured it was a good time to go home, turn on Sunday Ticket, and forget any of this had happened. Good one dream Zzyzx.

I was considering going back to grad school at NMSU. [info]desertgirlva and I were exploring the town. The grad department seemed more than happy to have me back and Mel was excited about how cheap houses were but it was obvious after being on campus for 5 minutes, that it just wasn't going to happen. Mel wasn't even going to consider it even though I wasn't officially rejecting the idea, because she knew I wasn't going to do it.

Ah, to wake up and have a move to Cruces off the table.

Selective dream recollection sux0rs
So I was working in the same building as Major League Baseball. It was the day of the All Star Game and I had three questions that I was really curious about. The first part of the dream was me asking people about it.

Question 1 was stupid - what time was the game starting.

Question 2 involved this weird promotion that Bud Selig was talking up. Any time a player (for either team) got at least 3 hits in a game, a plaque would go up in the stadium commemorating what he did in the game, as a way of keeping a history about great performances in a game, because it's so easy to focus on the big picture in baseball with the 162 games, that it's hard to remember the details about who did what on May 3rd. My question was if the plaques were permanent (they looked it) or if they were going to go away at the end of the year for a fresh start.

So two questions that involved dream specific stuff. The third was a more general baseball question that was as basic as the first two, so would be worth asking here, only when I finally went to a PR person to ask them some questions (8:10 official but she didn't know when first pitch was, she didn't know but she'd get back to me when she found out), I forgot the third question. Moreover, when I woke up right after that, I still couldn't remember what I was curious about, just that I had a question that would have been interesting that I can't quite remember. Damn, that's a frustrating feeling.

Heh
I dreamt that I was seeing Fellowship in a theatre with [info]pullthestars and [info]lithera. I was noticing all of these things I never had before, all of the utility poles and the I-90 sign, and the people driving cars, and the scene that was set in the 7-11.

Kat was trying to defend the slips, saying Jackson couldn't afford to fix them all, but I came up with an elaborate theory about how Middle Earth came after our civilization had collapsed and people thought we were some ancient race of wizards or something.

It was much better than the two other dreams I had that night, one of which put me in a New Orleans-esque refugee camp and the other had me having to do an expensive plumbing repair.
